This week I tried some prints.I haven't tried print before,so it was more like trying and experimenting and really not knowing what end result will be. I took photos of them but very hard to capture colours.

I have been thinking how I could display photos I took at the beginning of this project. I wanted to achieve effect that you can see through them. So I experimented with prints on acetate and resin and I liked the outcome.

After this I decided to do same way some photos.

 

Also I tried some prints with street views and silhouettes. Here is a woodcut block I used for one of prints .

I changed my short video I did before using paper cuts. I have added a street noises I recorded.

Felting workshop.

Today we had a felting workshop and we were introduced to basic felting skills and techniques .Here are just some samples of ways you can felt.

 1. Felting fleece, milk carton with warm soapy water, tennis ball. Felting fleece has to be wrapped around tennis ball and after warm soapy water has to be slowly poured over and felting wool worked around tennis ball until you don't feel any air pockets with your hands. After this it has to be rinsed under warm water and then it can be left to dry or put in the washing machine on 40' to wash again(it will shrink more of you wash in machine).

 Felting fleece can be mixed with fabric and felted that way, so you get mixed texture. We made this big piece all group together.
