I had made some changes in skirt design so here final design illustration board and photos of finished skirt.

Fashion Knitting - Mark-making

Knitting - Mark-making project.

Creating design using mark-making on paper. I created different marks on paper and after placing shape of garment on it created different designs.

Fashion Skirt project

Skirt making process.

Design of  a skirt.

After designing a skirt I have started to make a garment.

First I made a test skirt to see what adjustments I will need to make to a basic skirt pattern so I can use it for my design. 

First test skirt with a sample of fabric gathering I will be using for a skirt.

  

 

After this I made adjustments to pattern and made a second test skirt with cuts in places where fabric gatherings will be sewn in.

 

After this I started to make fabric gatherings and placed them on test skirt to see how they look.

 

All panels of final skirt stitched together.

I was not too happy with a design so I did a few adjustments by taking off right side of fabric gathering.

 

But it looked unfinished so I made another smaller fabric gathering and placed it side ways.
